Dr Azarbar joined the practice after completing her medical education and cardiology training in Montreal, Quebec.

Her Internal Medicine training was done at the University of Montreal Hospital Center, after which she obtained the title of Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Immediately thereafter, Dr Azarbar pursued a fellowship in adult cardiology, at the world-renowned Montreal Heart Institute, where she acquired extensive knowledge in advanced heart failure, coronary artery disease, arrhythmia and congenital heart disease. Upon completion of this fellowship, she obtained a second title of Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in cardiology.​
